PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:

Before Tan Instructions:

• 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment please complete any manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing and shaving. Gently exfoliate with an exfoliating mitt (exfoliating with a loofa/washcloth doesn’t do the trick!) Do not shower less than 4 – 6 hours before your tan so your pores have time to close. Do be sure to moisturize your skin in the days leading up to and after your tan.
• Think of yourself as a bare canvas. Do not have make up, perfumes, sweat or deodorant on your skin for the best results when coming for your spray tan. All of these things will act as a barrier between your skin and the spray tan solution and can cause for an unwanted outcome.
• Wear whatever you are comfortable in, or nothing at all. But if you choose to wear anything you will have tan lines.
• Dove soap has been known to create a barrier for some people so that the spray tan does not work well. This is not the case for every skin type however but it is recommended to stay away from Dove for the prep or for the duration of your spray tan. Some easy recommendations that you can pick up in your local drug store are Aveeno, Hempz, Cetaphil, and Cerave.
• Drink plenty of water!

After Tan Instructions:

• Follow the rinse times agreed upon prior to leaving your appointment – first rinse will be with no soap, just water! Rinse until the water going down the drain is clear and pat dry with a towel. Your tan will continue to develop deeper and darker for 24 hours. You may and should moisturize after the first rinse.
• After first shower moisturize daily with a spray tan safe lotion- this is the key to flawless long-lasting color. As stated above some easy recommendations for both body wash and moisturizer that you can pick up anywhere are Aveeno, Hempz, Cetaphil, and Cerave.
• Limit time spent in chlorine/salt water. If you will be- that is okay, just moisturize extra!
• If you are going out in the sun, please remember to use sunscreen. This tan is not a protector from the sun, you must still wear sunscreen as you would normally.
• Biggest thing to remember is moisturize and drink plenty of water.
